A documentary series on Elon Musk, the richest man in the world, will see the light of day

Founder of SpaceX, inventor of the Hyperloop, CEO of Tesla, and now owner of the social network Twitter, American billionaire Elon Musk fascinates as much as he disturbs. While he is at the heart of the news at the moment, since his takeover of Twitter for the modest sum of 44 billion dollars, the BBC took the opportunity to launch a documentary series which will tell the intimate journey of, like the described Simon Young, the channel’s editor, “one of the most enigmatic and intriguing people in the world”.

The series will be made by the producers of the highly controversial series Jimmy Savile: A British Nightmare available on Netflix. It will be based on real and unusual archive images as well as testimonies from his relatives, his family or even his associates. This is what director Marian Mohamed explained:

“It’s always exciting to document the biggest stories of the day, and our series will delve into Elon’s inner circle, examining the billionaire’s incredible rise and the truth behind this modern icon.”

The documentary series will be broadcast in three parts, and will analyze the key moments of his career, from his early years in Silicon Valley to the latest news from the businessman. The “Elon Musk show” will air on BBC Two later this year.
