The animal then came out and attacked two other students on the public highway. One was bitten on the arm, the other was squeezed. A fourth child, who arrived on a bicycle, was also crushed in the leg.

The divergent version of the rectorate

Contacted by Norman Awakening, the management at the Hameau college did not wish to comment with reference to the rector’s office. Which, through its press service, quickly responded to our request, but its version differs from the facts observed by the gendarmerie on the spot.

Thus, according to academic services, “everything happened outside the establishment”, at the end of the lunch break, when students were returning to college. The four children, who were taken care of immediately by the nurse, were only squeezed instead of bitten, adds the announcement from the rectorate, which speaks of “superficial injuries”.
