Little known crypto exchange that claims $500 million in daily trading volume, BKEX has just announced that they are suspending withdrawals on its platform.
In its official announcement, the crypto exchange states that the suspension of withdrawals is due to the discovery of funds from platform users who have been involved in money laundering.

Dear Users: Recently, platform users’ funds have been implicated in “money laundering” and BKEX is currently cooperating with the police to collect evidence for which we will suspend withdrawals to cooperate with the work.
The BKEX team will cooperate fully with the regulatory investigation and do its best to restore normal operations of the exchange. The team will actively work with the relevant authorities to resolve current issues to ensure that our users’ rights are protected to the fullest extent possible.
We will maintain transparent and timely communication during this process. If you encounter any problems or need help during the process, please do not hesitate to contact our customer service team. The BKEX team is working and cooperating with the police to perhaps restore normal operations of the crypto exchange in the future.
An announcement that comes as many crypto exchanges are in the crosshairs of regulatory authorities in various countries, such as the United States.
