CryptoCom (CRO) obtained Virtual Asset Service Provider license in Spain

Like Binance in July 2022, CryptoCom (CRO) has also obtained a virtual asset service provider license in Spain.

The crypto trading platform, which claims 80 million customers worldwide, compared to 120 million for giant Binance, will now be able to actively advertise and market to the Spanish population to attract new users.

“Crypto.com announced today that it has received its Virtual Asset Service Provider (VASP) registration from the Bank of Spain.

Cryptocom obtained this registration after an extensive review of its compliance with the Anti-Money Laundering Directive (AMLD) and other economic crime laws, as well as measures to protect users. With this registration, Cryptocom can offer a range of its products and services to users in Spain. “, we can read in the press release from the company.

In line with its biggest competitors, CryptoCom has obtained crypto licenses in other countries, including France, where it has made Paris its European headquarters, click here to read our article.

Kris Marszalek, CEO of Crypto.com, said:

“Receiving VASP registration from the Bank of Spain is the latest testament to our commitment to compliance and our eagerness to work with regulators and public officials to responsibly advance crypto and blockchain technology.

We look forward to continuing to work with the Bank of Spain as we bring our products and services to market and provide users with the complete, safe and secure crypto experience they desire. »

Despite a still uncertain crypto market against the background of rising Bitcoin prices, CryptoCom therefore continues its international development and especially in Europe, a key market for crypto trading.

Back in April, CryptoCom (CRO) further announced that it is partnering with electronics giant Samsung to bring an optimized crypto trading app to Galaxy Z Fold smartphones, click here to learn more.
