Elon Musk threatens to sue Twitter employees who leak information

The head of the social network, which itself organizes leaks from selected journalists, warned employees who would try to violate their confidentiality agreement.

Do as I say, not as I do. Twitter boss Elon Musk has issued a stern warning to his employees, threatening them with legal action if they seek to leak confidential information to the press.

“As evidenced by several detailed leaks of confidential information on Twitter, a few people in our company continue to act in a way that is contrary to the interests of the company and in violation of their NDA,” explains the email sent to employees , revealed by journalist Zoë Schiffer.

“I will only say this once: If you clearly and willfully violate the NDA you signed when you arrived, you accept your responsibility to the fullest extent of the law, and Twitter will immediately seek damages,” the boss emphasizes.

The latter insists that anything that could harm Twitter “will receive the response it deserves”.

This threat comes as Elon Musk has been distilling information about Twitter’s former leadership for weeks, leaving some handpicked journalists with access to sensitive information from the social network. A way for him to discredit the old management and make the social network “more transparent” in his eyes.
