Elon Musk has been in the limelight since his takeover of Twitter. Shortly after taking control of the company, Musk announced a series of layoffs, including senior officials. Then it announced that it would charge a subscription fee for blue tick verification. The feature’s rollout began last week before it had to be temporarily halted due to various issues. After the blue tick became available for subscription, many fake accounts posing as popular personalities managed to get a blue tick. Twitter was forced to suspend the feature to address these issues.
