The period is perfect for baking chocolate at high speed, right? It’s good, we have a perfect recipe and super easy to make, that of chocolate truffles.
It’s not like we needed an excuse to eat chocolate, but here, with the holiday season, the occasion is still well chosen.
Personally, being the queen of laziness, but not the last to bake something that closely or remotely resembles chocolate, I found the right one: make a recipe for chocolate truffles, these absolute wonders, with just two ingredients. Yes, you read that right. And you know what? You can even make them vegan.
Recipe for chocolate truffles with two ingredients
To make these simple but delicious wonders, you will need:
- 200 g dark chocolate
- 100 ml liquid cream (vegetable or not)
- Optional: cocoa powder or coconut powder for the coating if you’re feeling hot
To run this recipe, you must start with to melt chocolate in a bain-marie or in the microwave. Don’t burn it, we’re not here for that. In a separate pan, heat the creambut also not too much, it should be warm but not hot!
It’s you add the liquid cream to the melted chocolate stir gently and let cool for one hour at room temperature. So watch out, this is not the easy part (it’s not true), you open the door to the fridge and you place your preparation inside for at least 3 hours.
If you manage to avoid dipping your fingers in the bowl during this time, congratulations! Then just take it out of the fridge and make small balls that you can roll in your hands and place them on a plate. If you want to add some coating, it is now, but it is also very good nature.
Refrigerate everything for at least half an hour before serving, and voila!
