Lilaha 13-year-old female Golden Retriever, vanished on the afternoon of Friday June 24 near conklin, in New York State. His owner Rudy Fuehrer haven’t stopped looking for her ever since.
The following Sunday, the man made another attempt. He was accompanied by his 2 other dogs, including Lilah is the mother, when he recognized the dog’s barking. These emanated from a narrow drainage pipe under a track.
Rudy Fuehrer tried to lure him out of the pipe with peanut butter and cheesy treats, but to no avail. The animal was completely blocked. His master then contacted the emergency services.
The policeman was not afraid to get dirty or wet to rescue the dog
It was the New York State traffic police who intervened. 2 of its officers, jimmy rasaphone and Ana Reynas, arrived at the scene a few minutes later. The first being the most slender, he volunteered to enter the pipe.
jimmy rasaphone crawled nearly 5 meters into the pipe. He then put a long leash around the neck of Lilahthen both came out soaked, but safe and sound.
